I plan to use my degree to:
I plan to use my degree working as a New Project Manager for Monroe-Union County Economic Development to recruit new agriculture businesses to our community, as well as maintain current relationships. We will be working alongside Union County Cooperative Extension Service to bring the best businesses to our county that will help grow a sustainable and resilient place to live and raise a family.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at NC State was:
What I’ve enjoyed most about my experience at NC State was the encouragement I received from my professors and peers in the Crop and Soil Science Department. There were endless opportunities and resources made available to me and the other students that helped push each of us to become the best that we can be. I am very grateful for my time at NCSU and for the Crop and Soil Science family!
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were my parents. Even though I was in a different city, they were always one phone call away and there to tell me not always what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear. College is a time for growth, self discovery, and pushing yourself through new challenges so you can reach your goals. My parents have always encouraged me to keep working hard and I am so thankful for the relationship I have with each of them!
Dr. Crouse and Brittany have been my biggest cheerleaders at NCSU and I am so grateful to have mentors and leaders like them. They have helped lead me to my career path and figuring out the person I want to be. Good days or bad days, they always encouraged me to keep working hard.
Thank you to my grandparents and family who have provided me with unimaginable opportunities and support throughout the last four years.
Now that I have graduated, I’m most looking forward to:
Now that I have graduated, I’m most looking forward to serving my community and strengthening the agriculture industry back in my home county and home state. Thank you NCSU for encouraging us all to bring our experiences back to our homes and to share our wealth of knowledge with everyone.
