I plan to use my degree to:
I plan to use my degree to pursue a masters and PhD working in the field of crop breeding. I hope to assist in the acceleration of yield increase to a rate that buys humanity time for the population growth rate to slow or flatten. I also hope to assist in creating sustainable solutions for agriculture.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at NC State was:
It’s hard to say one thing, but I really enjoyed being a part of clubs and organizations especially the agronomy club and the horticulture club.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My parents were very supportive of my goals. I really appreciate that above all else. I’d also like to really thank Dr. Patterson, Dr. Crouse, Dr. Edmisten, Dr. Ramsey Lewis, Dr. Terri Long from Plant and Microbial Biology, Dr. Blanton, and so many more that helped me along on my journey to becoming a crop and soil scientist with a diverse background.
Now that I have completed the program, I’m most looking forward to:
Working in a masters program or working in my field!
